The company's story begins in 1985, when Timothy Gallant opens a scent and gift shop on rue des Deux Ponts, on the Île Saint-Louis in Paris: Timothy of St Louis is born. Being English, it was only natural for him to develop a range of "So British" products, blending elegance and whimsy. Buoyed by the success, he created the Royal Garden brand to directly distribute his collections to decoration, gift, and stationery professionals. In 2023, a new chapter opens with the creation of Hirondelles & Cie, a brand of French creations illustrated by four French artists. Each collection celebrates the poetry of everyday life through illustrated, sensitive, and meaningful objects. For nearly 35 years, we have traveled France and Europe with exclusive collections, renewed twice a year, to continue inspiring and surprising you.Read their story
