CULTIVATING COZY CONNECTION THROUGH THE ALCHEMY OF FRAGRANCE + FIRE △༄ Hi! I'm Heather, founder of FIRE + FOLK. I’m a queer, disabled female candlemaker in Portland, Oregon, and I have been passionate about crafting clean, vegan soy candles for over a decade. My fragrance blends are rooted in nature and inspired by life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I personally handcraft every candle from start to finish in my cozy candle studio using pure, locally sourced soy wax, essential oils, non-toxic fragrance oils, FSC-certified crackling wood wicks, and recycled and sustainable vessels. I hope to bring a little PNW magic into every home through beautifully scented candlelight while sparking cozy moments of warmth, joy, and human connection. Disabled with multiple autoimmune and neurological disorders, it is vital to me that the candles I create are safe, clean, and free of toxins, dyes, additives and phthalates. In addition to having a strong retail customer base, I'm also proud to work with a number of incredible indie stockists across the PNW and beyond. I’m also proud that my candles were named Best Candles in Portland in 2024 by Willamette Week magazine!
