About Macon York Press

Macon York Press is about slowing down, savoring the seasons, and staying connected to the people you love and to the natural world. I’m Macon, an artist and letterpress printer working out of my studio on our permaculture homestead in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I am inspired by the beauty of the Appalachian region: the plants and animals, the old traditions, and the steady rhythm of seasonal living. I draw every design by hand and print each piece one at a time on my antique Vandercook 4T letterpress, using 100 percent cotton paper. It is slow work that feels grounding and real. My hope is that every card feels warm and sincere, the kind you tuck into a lunchbox, pin to the fridge, or send to someone just because. My line includes greeting cards, art prints, and stickers. Everything is made in the USA and I source domestic materials whenever possible. I am proud to run a woman-owned small business that values sustainability, care, and meaningful connection.
