About Macon York Press

Macon York Press is about slowing down, savoring the seasons, and staying connected to the people you love and to the natural world. I’m Macon, an artist and letterpress printer working from my studio on a permaculture homestead in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I draw each design by hand and print them one at a time on my antique Vandercook 4T press using 100% cotton paper. My work is carried by over 80 independent shops across the United States, and shops often tell me the cards are steady sellers that stand out on the shelf. One stockist shared that they are a “BIG seller” in their shop. My line includes greeting cards, art prints, calendars, and stickers. Everything is made in the USA, with a focus on domestic materials. The line is intentionally cohesive and easy to reorder, with consistent quality and reliable turnaround. A natural fit for garden shops, gift stores, bookstores, and lifestyle shops, the work is designed to feel warm, sincere, and quietly distinctive.
