About Macon York Press

Macon York Press is all about slowing down, savoring the seasons, and staying connected — to the people you love and to the natural world. I’m Macon, an artist and letterpress printer working out of my studio on my permaculture homestead in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I’m inspired by the beauty of the Appalachian region — its plants, animals, old traditions, and the rhythms of seasonal living. My line includes greeting cards, art prints, and stickers — all designed to feel sincere, useful, and full of heart. I illustrate everything myself, then print each piece one at a time on an antique Vandercook 4T Letterpress machine using 100% cotton paper. This is slow work, and I love that. I try to make things that feel warm and real — the kind of card you’d tuck into a lunchbox, pin to the fridge, or send to someone just because. Every product is made in the USA — printed in my studio and made with domestically sourced materials whenever possible. I’m proud to run a woman-owned business rooted in sustainability and care.
