About Sarah Wood Studio
Started in 2011 with a love of history, art, inspiration and handcrafting I design mixed media jewelry that has something to say. I fuse steel and paper (and more) to make wearable pieces that can be enjoyed for years to come. I especially love to make pieces that honor marginalized people and their accomplishments and find great inspiration in the stories of those who prevailed against staggering odds. And since every day is “handmade history”, I feature many items that reflect current events and contemporary inspiring figures, always with an emphasis on human rights and peace.
