About Merelani Designs
Merelani Designs is a handmade jewelry brand that strives to create gemstone pieces that can be worn every day. What began as a creative outlet for elementary school teacher, Megan Malcolm, soon became a Top 40 shop of jewelry on Etsy. Merelani Designs has been worn on popular tv shows including This is Us, All American, Charmed, Firefly Lane, Riverdale, Arrow, Jane the Virgin, Law and Order SVU and more. Megan lives in Columbia, Maryland with her 2 children, husband and pup, Midnight. She was born in Hawaii and raised in Maryland. "Merelani" closely means Maryland in Hawaiian. Butterflies and crystals are Megan's passions, so every order includes wildflower seeds in an effort to help declining butterfly populations.
