About Charcuterie Millas

We created the Millas charcuterie in 1995. In a real local quality approach, we decided to create in 1998 the “Apalhat” sector (“pigs raised on straw”, in Occitan) with three breeders located less than 30 km from our manufacturing workshop. We have established strict quality specifications: pigs are raised on straw for a longer period than for standard pigs, resulting in a meat that is riper, redder and tastier. Our pigs are fed with grains guaranteed to be non-GMO and they do not undergo treatment with antibiotics. Today, we manufacture 100% of charcuterie products, from cutting to marketing.Read their story
