Hi, I'm Anjali, Founder of Malabar Baby. I grew up in Miami Beach, spent years working in finance in NYC, but textiles were always in the background: my family has been in the textile business in India and China for generations. Becoming a mom pulled me back to that heritage, and Malabar Baby was born from wanting to make something special that could be shared with modern families around the world. I built Malabar Baby the way I imagine a fellow store owner building theirs — with soul, passion, and a love for making gifting magical. We craft in small batches using either GOTS-certified organic cotton, OEKO-TEX bamboo, Tencel, and Indian cotton voile. About 80% of our pieces are handcrafted in India using hand block-printing, and 20% are made with our watercolor artwork on pure muslin. We're intentional about the fabric and craft behind every single piece + our artisan partners have been with us for 10+ years and we're just getting started!
