About Soap & Paper Factory
MADE IN THE USA. Soap & Paper Factory began back in 2001 with a curiosity for making soap the old-fashioned way. Soapmaking is an incredibly laborious, painstaking craft: You must have patience, knowledge, and tenacity. It’s difficult, but it’s also one of the most rewarding crafts on the planet and we fell in love. In the beginning, making soap was a “late night” affair with a little vodka and some good tunes. Lisa would wake up in the morning and run downstairs to lift the wool blanket off the soap to see how it all turned out. It was like Christmas Morning every day. We have since grown out of Lisa's basement but our passion and our mission are the same as they were 16 years ago... OUR MISSION: To formulate using the finest, most natural ingredients sourced within the USA, and if possible, locally. To design the most beautiful packaging, keeping in mind the earth and limiting waste. To purchase from reliable and honest suppliers within the USA, and if possible, locally. **PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer zip code protection or territory exclusivity unless a customer carries all SKUS and is doing $5K in sales per quarter. A fan favorite and loved by my clients to say the least;) Jessica is always a pleasure to talk to and gets everything out faster than a NY minute!!! I've had my boutique in New York for 23 years and I can't imagine my store without them! We burn and sell Roland Pine even in the summer:)
