Hi, I'm Aly, I am the heart and soul behind of New Genes Maternity Wear. From heartache to passion from losing my daughter almost 13 years ago, I have made it my mission to make every mom feel beautiful, even if it was just for a moment in her day. Growing a human is hard. Parenting is hard; finding quality, versatile clothing at a reasonable price shouldn't be. I try and design and sew clothes that can be worn into your 4th trimester. Designed with a women’s every-changing body in mind, these styles can be worn from the office to play dates These handmade items are ethically made and designed with a little humour and a lot of love. I would not recommend buying from New Genes Maternity! I decided to give them a try; in my first order I received about 15 items- at least two of the items had holes (apx 2-3") in the seams! The quality was less than, so I returned the items. I won't carry poor quality items in my shop. The biggest bummer is I had paid shipping to receive the order, but they don't refund your shipping, so I ended up paying $179 for the two products I did not return (items sold). Don't waste your time and money!
