Back in 2013, when I started MelMarie Skin Care, I never imagined that soon enough my daughter Carmella would be coming on board to help with the day to day operations. While I formulated and researched, she would often times help after school and on the weekends, but she wasn't all on board at first. A few years ago she started taking more interest in the formulating part of the business and together we started building our affordable luxury product line. Soon after, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and she became the head of operations at the age of 16. I watched her formulate, research, work on the website, become a sales guru and all while living the teenager life. Fortunately, my treatments worked and we are continuing to grow our company together. Not only has this brought us closer, we have learned each others strengths, and we have built our business on them. It may seem odd to say I am thankful for my diagnoses, but I truly believe it got us to where we are. We welcome you to our MelMarie family, and we know you will fall in love with our products the way we have fallen in love with creating them.
