About ML Kids

It all started with a dream... Since I was a very young child, I have always wanted to be in the fashion industry. That dream finally came true in 2014 when we started ML Kids. I worked in the women's fashion industry in New York for a few years after college. What an experience that was! I loved being in the middle of it all but as I grew older, I realized that I needed more... I wanted to own my own home, I wanted a savings account for emergencies, I wanted a real closet, etc... That was not going to happen doing what I did so I re-evaluated my life and decided it was time to move on. The women's fashion industry was fun but it wasn't really for me. I wanted to do something different. But what? Thats when I noticed the children's clothing industry were so limited in the designs and especially in the south where smocking ruled the market. I wanted to create a line that is shabby chic and allowed the kids to have a more grown up look but still age appropriate. With ML Kids, parents are able to customize full outfits or just a piece or two to incorporate in their little one's closet. Read their story
