Caribbean Sol was originated in Orlando, FL in 2012. Prior to 2012, the founder of Caribbean Sol worked with and listened to many Boat Operators in the Caribbean and Hawaii about how the sunscreen he was currently selling was killing the Marine Eco-Systems. After this, he set out to find a Natural solution to sunscreen. He and a microbiologist worked hard to formulate a completely natural line of sun care that is now Caribbean Sol. Caribbean Sol is ahead of its time in the market. Current news about sunscreen's chemical ability to harm marine life is pushing consumers to make the switch to more mineral-based sun products. There are many brands out there that are trying to alter their ingredients but they are not natural. Simply replacing one chemical with another is not our solution.
