Hello, we are #ombreclaire. We are designers, artisans and committed to desirable, responsible and sustainable fashion. Ombre Claire is about jewellery, baskets, stoles and anything else that makes us want to! Ethical accessories that create meaning and weave links. Objects to offer to those we love, to collect, a pleasure for oneself, an alliance to unite. Our creations travel and tell stories. Jewellery and baskets that craftsmen in the middle of the Sahara make with their hands from drawings made in the heart of Paris, after a bike ride in the rue de Belleville or a break in the Jardin des Plantes while dreaming of the high seas. Stoles imagined over a drink in a hidden bar in Berlin, baskets designed after an exhibition at the Maeght Foundation or in a farm in Arles among the flowers. Durable jewellery in recycled sterling silver, bronze or ebony that can be passed on from generation to generation, that will age with us, that we can adjust and repair over the years. We imagine jewels to make known a culture and a know-how, to travel, to see the dunes and the sun hidden in a sandstorm, to invent a joyful and sensitive fashion and to maintain the link with the Tuareg craftsmen who constantly enchant us by their poetry and their technical prowess. We love the colours of Matisse, dancing to the songs of Tinariwen and Patti Smith and dreaming to the ballads of Sufjan Stevens or in front of a Pina Bausch show.
