About Hand Lettered Design

Hand Lettered Design was founded by Lisa Funk in 2014 to help share the healing practice of mindful lettering. After years of struggling with depression and anxiety, Lisa found a creative outlet in hand lettering. The practice of lettering mindful, encouraging phrases and focusing on the relaxing strokes of a brush pen became a go-to practice for her mental health.
