A Note From our Founder, Sam Miles Master Esthetician While the beauty industry continues to offer us endless options and complexity, my goal is to keep skincare simple. But, as we like to say at Somerset Moss, simplicity doesn’t have to mean basic. Growing up on a farm in England’s lush Somerset county, my days were filled with the simple yet immersive joys of the outdoors: playing in the fields, collecting flowers. Sam's journey began at Soho House Group, in her hometown of Somerset, England, where she developed their skincare collection from the ground up. Inspired by her time in the English countryside, and her years of living in beautiful Portugal and British Columbia, the idea for a minimalistic botanical, simplified skincare routine, Somerset Moss, was born in Vancouver, BC. When it comes to skincare Sam, like many, had always felt overwhelmed by choice. Somerset Moss provides a core collection of products including a Facial Balm, Oil, Mist, and Mask - all you need for soft, healthy, and glowing skin. One of our core values as a brand is to stick to the basics, and provide products that are safe for our environment, and most importantly safe for our bodies. Every formula is clean and formulated to meet EU standards. She also enlisted the help of a Master Perfumer in England to curate the perfect blend for each product, each with a signature Somerset Moss scent. Read their story
