Hi, I'm Nicole. I am the owner and designer of Good Moon. I rediscovered my love for embroidery in the midst of the pandemic. During a time of great stress and fear of the unknown, I found the repetitive movement therapetic and relaxing. While looking for patterns and kits to purchase, I saw a lack of unique and modern designs that appealed to my aesthetic, so I began to design my own patterns. My background is in screenprinting, blockprinting, and fabric dyeing so I used many of the same design principles and started transfering them to embroidery pattern ideas and designs. I see an opportunity in the market for these types of craft kits in uniquely and thoughtfully curated boutiques that feature giftable items. I’ve created a complete embroidery kit, in simple and attractive packaging, that has everything one needs to complete a creative project. From start to finish, this kit is designed and assembled in Altadena.
