About Marika Chew Watercolor Paintings
I am a watercolor artist based in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. My watercolors feature intricate pattern-filled animals and nature-inspired collections. World Textiles, folk art, and Art Nouveau motifs are the primary influences on my work. All my paintings are done completely in watercolor involving many layers of paint, with a number of very tiny brushes. I sell greeting cards featuring my watercolors and high quality signed art prints. All my products are printed by hand on a photo-printer in my own studio.
