By day, I (Stacy) am a registered nurse with a creative side and my husband (Justin) is a graphic designer. Together we design, make, and handcraft unique, high-quality jewelry such as wood earrings and necklaces, leather earrings and cuffs, and more! Emerald + Clay was started in 2010 under a different name and we specialized in custom, hand stamped jewelry. In 2018 we transformed our business, starting with a new name. Emerald + Clay comes from the two places we love most – our family cottage on Emerald Lake, and our home, which is rooted in clay! At E+C, we take extreme pride in every piece we create. We use only the best materials like sterling silver (and nickel free) ear wires, beautiful hardwoods, and genuine leather and cork. Our attention to the smallest of details is what really sets us apart. It is also why we design EVERYTHING we create. All of our wood jewelry starts from original hand drawings. We NEVER use pre-designed templates. From selecting the wood, to sanding, to final finishing, we own the entire process and craft everything in our in-house studio. By doing this, the shops and boutiques we partner with can be assured they are purchasing jewelry that is truly unique!
