About Balade en Provence
"Balade en Provence" was founded in our village of Opio, in the south of France, and the name means “a walk in Provence”. As a family, we started the business six years ago. Unlike a lot of conventional water-based beauty products, we focused on creating solid bars that deliver a more concentrated formula from natural and organic ingredients. As a solid, concentrated bar, there’s no need for a plastic bottle or chemical preservatives. When we released the first solid night cream in 2019, we were so proud to receive such positive feedback from our consumers ("my skin is so soft in the morning", "my sensitive skin is loving it", etc...). Since, we made the commitment to continue to innovate in the Organic Facial Solid Skincare category. We then launched the First Solid Eye Serum in 2021, and the story continues. OUR COMMITMENT All our bars are artisan handmade in France, and our packaging is fully compostable and recyclable, printed with vegetable ink. Our facial skincare products are 100% natural and contain a minimum of 32% organic content. Our products are certified Organic, Vegan and we are in the process of seeking a fair-trade certification too.
