Hello, I'm Melanie - The Swimming Owl I am an illustrator who loves to create whimsical artwork for coloring books, bookmarks, and other cosmic cottagecore-inspired treasures and gifts. I paint and draw because it makes my heart sing, and when I am making that artwork, I want to transport myself (and you) to a more whimsical, wonderful place that makes you smile. I love these coloring books, my ONLY issue is that the paper is pretty thin and I am not sure how well it will hold up with markers. Most of my customers (and myself) us markers. Art is awesome though!

Good news - I use alcohol markers in my books all the time. 😊 A simple trick is to place a sheet of cardstock or scrap paper behind the page you’re working on, which prevents any bleed-through.
