About Hardin Soy Candles/Peoria Book Rack
Established in 2003, Hardin Soy Candles uses all natural soy wax products, organic fragrance oils and cotton core wicks to create the most fragrant, clean burning premium candle you can buy. All Hardin Soy Candles products are hand poured in small batches in Peoria, Illinois by Candle Chandler, Stacy Hardin. Stacy Hardin also owns the Book Rack, a beloved local indie bookstore, which fueled her passion for making candles inspired by fun and fantasy. HSC also has an entire line of candles inspired by popular kitchen fragrances, such as pumpkin, cinnamon, and vanilla, as well as an assortment of fruits, florals and clean scents! Thank you for your support! A portion of all proceeds from Hardin Soy Candle orders goes to our 501(c)3 charity, Book Rack Literacy Foundation, Inc. Our non-profit puts new and gently used books into the hands of low income children and families that otherwise would not be able to afford them.

I cannot believe how fast these candles sell. Books and Coffee is my best seller. People get a kick out of I Smell Children. The literary line of candles is perfect for my bookstore. I like the fact there are ‘manly’ scents as well.
