About Make & Mary
We create botanical blends to invoke the magic of calm. Our work is rooted in the belief that healing can be holistic, sensual, and feel good. We’re herbalists, artists, and Latina. As an intergenerational brand, we’re passionate about sustainability and preserving the quality of life for ourselves and future generations. Our business is community-minded, and our formulas are always all-natural, potent, cruelty-free, vegan, and low-waste. Make & Mary became official in 2016 but has been incubating over generations. We use plants inspired by our mixed Mexican and Scottish heritage, passed down generationally. Our formulas have been perfected for over 30 years by our herbalist and CEO, Yvonne Perez Emerson. We also have a flagship store and production facility in Portland, Oregon. Out of the ten people we contract or employ, nine identify as women and six as BIPOC.
