VOLTA ATELIER creates unique upcycled leather handbags handstitched by refugee women. Breathing new life and purpose into discarded leather, VOLTA carefully selects industrial waste from the fashion industry and places them in the hands of skilled artisans to create one-of-a-kind products. In Portuguese, Volta means to return, and to give back is the meaning of our brand. To reclaim cultural heritage and empower communities from the ground up is our mission. Through that, we activate a network that connects refugee women in Brazil to the globe, artisans to industry, and all of that resulting in timeless accessories. Having a permanent collection of designs, the brand entirely focuses on the materials and the quality of each product so that they can be part of your style. All of that allows you to have a unique bag, handstitched for good.
