Carmencita began its journey in 1923, being the first Spanish company to package spices in glass jars. The vocation of a pioneering and innovative company led Carmencita to develop a mixture of spices to season paella, which finally gave life to our famous Paellero, a symbol in Spain and in many countries in the world. Today, and coinciding with the anniversary of our 100-year history, the company is in the process of building new facilities, with more than 30,000 m2 that will become the largest and most modern spice factory in Spain, and one of the most important in Europe.
