The Story Behind Butterfly & Bee Millie, our beloved dog, has always been full of energy and joy. She loved nothing more than running through tall grass, playing fetch, and exploring the outdoors across New England. But as much as we cherished those adventures, we began noticing a growing concern — ticks. After becoming ill, Millie was diagnosed with three different tick-borne illnesses. It was a moment that changed everything for our family. We began searching for products that felt both effective and safe, but found ourselves frustrated by harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and ingredients we didn’t feel comfortable bringing into our home. When we couldn’t find products we truly trusted, we started creating our own. That journey became Butterfly & Bee. What began as a mission to protect our dog naturally soon expanded into a broader commitment to healthier, more sustainable living. As we became more mindful of the products we used every day. Today, Butterfly & Bee creates small-batch products for both pets and people using thoughtfully selected ingredients, eco-friendly packaging, and simple formulations designed for everyday living.
