About LeightWorks

Aurora was designed for customers who want something new, beautiful and easy to wear. For stores, it's a proven seller w. high margin. Founded in 2004, LeightWorks is the vision of artist David Leight, blending fine art, science, and wearable design. David began his creative journey in 1999 with formal training at the renowned Pilchuck Glass School, founded by Dale Chihuly, where he developed a distinctive approach to shaping and capturing light through glass. David’s early career focused on sculpture, including a commissioned five-foot crystalline glass Google logo. His transition into jewelry began unexpectedly when one of his sculptural forms was first worn as a pendant—revealing a luminous, colorful, and original new direction. Each piece is crafted using David’s signature techniques, refined over more than two decades. Fine optic glass and natural crystal are hand-cut, polished, and cold-fused within precious metals to create an iridescent glow that shifts with light and movement. Inspired in part by NASA-developed optical technology, every design is shaped to enhance color, reflection, and brilliance. Aurora Crystal Jewelry is the evolution of LeightWorks—bringing this light-driven artistry into a more durable, waterproof, everyday-wearable collection with refined finishes and modern silhouettes. LeightWorks and Aurora are sold in galleries, museums, cruise ships, and gift shops across the United States, and are designed to spark curiosity—and earn compliments.
