About Froux-Froux Frog
But Frogs?....The Story Behind Our Brand Name In 2018, I lost my father, a Cajun character like no other. His absence is felt profoundly every day. Throughout my life, he had a unique way of showing his love—by calling me "frog." There’s no charming story behind the nickname, no tale of me hopping around as a child. It was just something he called me, and I loved that it made no sense. When I decided to start this brand, I could almost hear him saying in his thick Cajun accent, "Dat degree I paid for finally is being put ta use!" (I majored in Textile Apparel Merchandising before switching to teaching). I knew I wanted the brand name to honor him somehow. While I don’t particularly like frogs and don’t collect frog-themed items, the nickname holds a special place in my heart. I decided on "Froux-Froux" as a nod to my Louisiana roots. It signifies "a little something extra" and adds a touch of fun, just like my Dad always was and would want the same for me. Here’s a picture from my LSU graduation in 2008, a moment filled with pride and joy!

After receiving our products from Froux-Froux Frog an using the Shopify integration option, I received a very rude email from the owner telling me that she didn't give me permission to use her photos, and then threatened me in regards to "using a minors photo"... that she uploaded for anyone to use when they purchase her products on Faire.. Be careful when using the Shopify Integration button with this seller. You'll likely get a rude email.
