About Chibird

Chibird is a collection of positive and encouraging characters and comics, focused on themes of mental health, self love, and getting through tough times. They feature a host of lovable animals and handwritten, genuine messages. Chibird was created in 2010 by Jacqueline Chen during high school, and since then, her comics and animations have been followed by over 1 million people and sent over 10 billion times. Her original book Loading Penguin Hugs was published in 2018 by Andrews McMeel and was featured in Target, Kinokuniya, and Amazon. Jacqueline is local to San Francisco and travels across the country for conventions.Read their story
