About Word For Word Factory
We’re a small language-focused studio exploring analog connection & communication under late stage capitalism. We’re queer + sick owned, living & working in Los Angeles, California. We specialize in political social justice buttons & cultural commentary, with a growing roster of hot foil + risograph printed goods. We've been designing + manufacturing original pinback button designs for 15 years. Our buttons help folks share who they are & what they care about with the world around them. WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER WITH US: You can count on superior quality from product to packaging. Our buttons are designed, printed, punched, pressed & packaged in our Los Angeles studio. We care deeply about consistent, high-quality craftsmanship & make it a priority every single day. We press-to-order on wholesale buttons. This isn’t naiveté, it’s a sustainable way we can offer 600+ designs (loose or carded), with minimal waste. But please be advised: orders can take a couple weeks to process. Let us know if you have a deadline, we'll always work to meet it! GIVING BACK is a foundation of our brand. We donate a portion of our proceeds to social justice organizations that center & support women, queer, trans, black & brown lives. Donation information is detailed in applicable product listings.
