Prismatic Defender® started in New York in 2017 with two best friends, a lot of trading card games, and one simple idea: card sleeves did not have to look so damn basic. After months of testing our first holographic sleeves, we launched them at the Magic Grand Prix in Washington, DC. The response made one thing clear: players wanted protection, but they also wanted their decks to have some personality. What began in garages and convention booths grew into a full product line, a warehouse, and a brand carried by game stores and distributors around the world. Along the way, we acquired another accessories brand and became a major supplier for TCGplayer’s headquarters. Today, Prismatic Defender® creates Holographic Card Sleeves, Holographic Perfect Fits, Standard and Japanese-size Matte Sleeves, Deck Boxes, and other TCG accessories for collectors, Commander players, casual players, and anyone who wants their cards to stand out. We are still a small business, and we treat that as a strength. Retailers work directly with us, customers get thoughtful service, and nearly every part of the business is handled in-house.
