About Hoooked
Hoooked: Pioneers in sustainable crafting since 2008. From our recycling centre in Portugal, we transform fashion industry textile waste into vibrant, high-quality yarns—no dyes, no water waste, 100% traceable. Our Story: Born from seeing massive fabric scraps in European factories, we recycle surplus textiles into craft-ready yarns. First came Zpagetti, the original T-shirt yarn—hand-sorted by colour, wound into unique cones. Today, we produce RibbonXL tape yarns, EcoTwist macramé cords, Spesso chunky cotton, Cordino twisted cords, and more. Plant-based stars like Jute Tossa/Amaznia (fair trade BCS-certified), silky Eucalyps, and SeaCell blends join our lineup. All Oeko-Tex certified where applicable, supporting fair EU jobs. Yarn Portfolio: CYC 3-7 weights for crochet/knit/macramé. Highlights: - Zpagetti (Super Bulky, 100% reused knits): Bags, poufs (700g cones). - RibbonXL (Bulky/Super Bulky, 80% recycled cotton): Home décor, neon/lurex variants (250g/80g). - EcoTwist (Light, 85% recycled cotton): Macramé, 21 natural shades (250g). - Spesso/Cordino (Super Bulky, 3-5mm): Bold macramé/wall art. - Eco Barbante/Wavy Blends (Medium): Amigurumi, gradients. - Woool'e (Light, 60% recycled wool/40% cotton): Soft garments. - Jute Amaznia (Jumbo): Rugs, outdoor (350g bars).
