About Salt n Rays
The UPF 50 Sol Wrap is a sand free, lightweight, absorbent towel designed to protect the skin from the sun's rays. This versatile towel doubles as a wrap or sarong and is the ultimate travel towel, perfect for the beach, boat, sport field or pool. Like the SPF in sunscreen, UPF is the standard to measure the effectiveness of sun protective fabrics. A UPF factor of 40 or above is considered EXCELLENT protection from both UVA and UVB rays. Our Sol Wrap is rated UPF 50+, even when wet, blocking 97% of UVA and 99.7% of UVB rays. While we advocate daily sunscreen use and re-application, sometimes you need extra protection when shade is not an option.
