About Yardia
Yardia creates nature-inspired watercolor stationery, gifts, kitchen goods and art prints that help you to express your intersectional identities and love the place you live. Yardia ships from Seattle, Washington and is owned by me, Brigida Swanson, a queer multiracial-CHamoru watercolor artist and Seattle native now living in Spain. Creating art about nature is how I feel most connected to the ancestral values of my CHamoru heritage, and to the Pacific Northwest culture in which I was raised. It's why I create products that express a kinship with nature, to help us all experience a sense of belonging and wonder. Yardia is proud to be a member of 1% For The Planet, giving back 1% of all sales to environmental organizations, including Brave Trails, Tilth Alliance and Earth Corps. Yardia is also proudly social media-free, and has been off all socials since 2023.
