About Yardia

Yardia creates nature-inspired watercolor stationery, gifts, kitchen goods and art prints that help you to express your intersectional identities and love the place you live. Yardia is owned and operated by me, Brigida Swanson, a queer multiracial CHamoru watercolor artist based in Seattle, Washington. Creating art about nature is how I feel most connected to the ancestral values of my CHamoru heritage, and to the Pacific Northwest culture in which I was raised. It's why I create products that express a kinship with nature, to help us all experience a sense of belonging and wonder.
