Stowe Mercantile Kitchen is a family owned and operated Vermont business producing Vermont made crackers and baking mixes. Stowe Mercantile, located on Main Street in Stowe Village, was founded by Marc Sherman in 1986 and has operated continuously since then. in 2019, Marc opened his commercial kitchen and worked with his daughter Abby to develop a line of crackers and baking mixes. The product line up is approaching 25 items which have been tested in Stowe Mercantile for shelf appeal, customer acceptance and strong sales. The crackers are all great sellers and the mixes have simple to follow instructions, minimal ingredients and no added preservatives! Our packaging is designed to maximize shelf presence, creating a visually exciting display for your customers. In 2023, Erin Welch, Marc's step-daughter assumed management of Stowe Mercantile Kitchen. She has quickly added new products, helped to redesign packaging and has been integral in expanding sales.
