The New York Times has described her work as “certain to please aesthetically-minded children and adults.” A native Californian, she trained as a textile designer in New York. When she had small children, Jorey began making a drawing everyday. Thousands of drawings later, she has grown her art into a business with fine art prints (available wholesale on Faire), children's books (published by Simon & Schuster), and licensing partnerships (with global retailers). Today, she draws and prints in a nineteenth-century farmhouse, which she is slowly renovating with her family. Jorey personally reviews and signs each art print purchased on Faire. Jorey seeks retail partners to bring more art to more homes - art that honors the people who live there.
