ABOUT THE SHOP MadeByTheMoonchild is a one woman small business based in a home studio in Salt Lake City, UT. With a passion for yoga, meditation, health, and wellness I began creating meditation tools (malas) after completing a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India. I started selling malas at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 to aid folks who are struggling with their meditation practice. MALA INFO I use all natural, genuine gemstones. Most stones are grade AAA - the highest quality rating for gemstones and crystals. All items are designed and hand knotted in my home studio with sustainability in mind. A mala, or a japa mala, is a string of 108 beads that can be used as part of one’s meditation routine. As your fingers move across each bead you can either take a deep breath or repeat a mantra, prayer, or intention. Malas can also be worn anytime to carry the energies of the gemstones and crystals throughout your day. If you find yourself getting anxious you can start deepening your breath while moving your fingers slowly across the beads. No one else even needs to know you are meditating! CUSTOM & UNIQUE CREATIONS I welcome collaborations and love to create unique and one-of-a-kind malas. I am happy to work with you and create a line of custom malas to be sold exclusively by your shop.

These malas are absolutely stunning. They are made well and are high quality The stones are cold, which means they are genuine. The mala has a knot in between each bead strengthening the quality of the mala and preventing the beads from rubbing together and cracking over time. I highly recommend this seller and her malas. I plan to buy more!

I was very pleased with the quality of the Malas and it shipped quicker than expected (always a plus). I can feel the love emit from from each bead and it is apparent her Spirit encodes them with this love vibration. It is a lot of work in making proper 108 Malas and I highly recommend hers.
