About Woolpets
Woolpets has been creating 3D needle felting kits since 2007. Co-founder Laurie Sharp discovered her love for needle felting while studying to become a Waldorf kindergarten teacher. Her passion for sculpting with wool and her fascination with the birds and animals of the Pacific Northwest soon led to the development of a successful line of felting patterns and how-to books. The process of needle felting is simple and satisfying. A bundle of wool roving is rolled tightly into a barrel and then poked repeatedly with a barbed felting needle, which quickly binds the natural fibers together. Woolpets felting kits come with high-quality wool roving from Canada, New Zealand, and the United States, two felting needles, and step-by-step photo instructions that make the process easy to learn. We are proud to be creating local jobs and excited to inspire new crafters every day.
