Living in an 800-square-foot apartment in Davidson, North Carolina, two brothers with big imaginations turned a simple idea into something extraordinary. At just 10 and 7 years old, Duncan and Hayden wanted to earn some extra spending money. Inspired by their love of the outdoors and the adventurous spirit of the movie Brave, the boys teamed up with their mom, Elisha, to create something fun, durable, and nostalgic: a kid-friendly bow and arrow set. With a $50 loan from Mom and plenty of determination, they handcrafted their first 18 sets and brought them to a local craft fair, where they sold 15 in a single day. Instead of pocketing the profits, Duncan and Hayden made a bold decision to reinvest everything and build more. That determination quickly paid off. Their handmade bow and arrow sets landed in their very first retail gift shop, where they caught the attention of a sales representative eager to bring their product to even more stores. Fast forward nine years, and that small family venture has grown into Two Bros Bows, a million-dollar business now carried in over 1,200 specialty stores around the world.
