About "The Original Bag of Poo"® Novelty Cotton Candy
A QUICK POO HISTORY I thought I would share with you how all of this came about. When you retire too young, you can get bored and not know what to do with the rest of your life. A person really needs to have a sense of purpose. After serving in the retail world for over 30 years, I was looking for a new adventure. A good friend understanding my plight, introduced me to the world of candy. I would be a candy broker and sell to retail accounts. Pure commission sales at its hardest. In my travels I met a small cotton candy manufacturer in Arkansas. At the time, they made pink cotton candy for a customer who stuffed it in his unique packaging and called it unicorn farts. Upon hearing this, I asked, can you make this stuff brown? If so, I will put it in a bag and call it poop in a bag. He said I will try; the idea was born. I had to come up with a name and I wanted something unique and simple. My first thought was this truly is original and I thought poo rolls off the tongue easier. Hence, The Original Bag of Poo was born, and a United States Trademark was applied for and received for brown cotton candy.
