Handmade from clay using our own proprietary technique to carve the shape, our clay beads are fired up in a Kiln oven at 2000-2300 F. We are a family-business located in Guatemala. All our jewelry is ethically made by talented Mayan artisans. We employ more than 35 artisans nationwide. We have made it our mission to create dignified working conditions and fair terms for our artisan partners and their families. After years of hard work, we opened up our first shop in 1998 in Antigua, Guatemala. It quickly became apparent that the ceramic bead had immense potential. After years of refinement and development, it became our signature product, and if you happen to stumble upon these beads anywhere, it is made by us, guaranteed. Today, we have a beautiful workshop and two shops in the center of Antigua, Guatemala.
