About Apolis Tea

Apolis Tea is us: Audrey & Alex. We first met in Alaska 15 years ago, where we both grew up. We both liked adventure and the look of each other. Thirteen years and a couple of kids later we started Apolis Tea. During our combined 25 years in the tea industry, we’ve learned a lot about tea. We’ve also learned the importance of developing long-term relationships you can rely on. This means we have some old-fashioned ideas about being prompt, available, and reliable. Every business has a reason for being, a purpose that guides its decisions and ultimately defines it. Ours is craftsmanship. Our craft is in the art of blending and the science of sourcing teas and ingredients. Our producers are craftsmen and women as well; together, we work to create noteworthy teas you will get excited about. The history of tea is as much about innovation as it is about tradition. We are always looking for new ingredients and sourcing from producers who work with interesting cultivars and use biodynamic or organic farming techniques.
