About Kauniste

​Kauniste was founded in Helsinki in 2008. We design and create sustainable textiles and goods for the everyday life. Each pattern tells its own story of Nordic lifestyle and happiness. Kauniste patterns are designed by illustrators and artists. The original designs are created by drawing with crayons, painting and paper cutting. Kauniste fabrics are made in Europe from spinning of the yarns to printing and sewing of the final product. We emphasize high quality manufacturing and natural materials. Our signature linen & cotton textiles are printed with non-toxic inks in a factory which uses green energy.Read their story
