About Upavim Crafts
UPAVIM is an ethical and fair trade certified line of handmade goods including home, baby, and accessories. All the products are handmade by a self-run women's cooperative in the outskirts of Guatemala City. At UPAVIM we believe that when women are economically empowered, families thrive and communities are safer. Through our income generating projects, the women of UPAVIM are able to not only support themselves and their families, but also to support their community. For over 28 years, UPAVIM has worked with and within the community of La Esperanza to develop programs for the community’s benefit. Who works for, manages, and develops these programs? The women of La Esperanza and surrounding communities.

I received my 1st order of candles today. The candle colors are beautiful and nicely packaged for resale. I also love the shape and size of these candles. We've been looking for unique, handcrafted and natural spell candles in a retail-ready, mixed colors assortment for some time and were thrilled to find these. Communication with the brand has been amazing, extremely helpful and friendly. I'm looking forward to testing them out myself and can't wait to see the response from my custo.ers.
