EIGHT FIVE ONE was founded by self-taught designer and maker, Nia Lipka. EIGHT FIVE ONE was named after my childhood home address where I learned to make jewelry at the age of 10. By 14, I was melting down metals and worked with several jewelers to learn everything I could. Within the walls of that home, jewelry was a source of daydream and to me, a door into the world of creative magic. To this day, Eight Five One is a reminder of the sparkle that jewelry gave me from a young age, one that we can access each and every day through adornment. Eight Five One is an elevated jewelry brand that mixes basics, with carefully designed pieces that draw inspiration from fine jewelry without the price tag.
