LITTLE BEAU SHEEP celebrates the best of British wool through a unique range of hand-made laundry and body care products. From signature wool laundry dryer balls to felted wool soaps and laundry fragrance, the collection offers an innovative eco-friendly take on everyday cleaning tasks. Sarah had been working in a fast-paced corporate role for a global bank until 2011 when she had her first child. She started to want a little more flexibility with her time, so she could enjoy her new arrival. Although she loved her job, it was pretty much all-consuming, which meant a return to corporate life seemed unlikely. Necessity, as they say, is the mother of invention. And in many ways, that was certainly the case with Little Beau Sheep. In 2015, Sarah and her family were living in a small top-floor flat with no outside space as they renovated their house and she found herself up to her eyes in baby-laundry with the tumble dryer permanently on. Sarah had started to feel guilty about the tumble dryer and the eco- unfriendliness of its frequent use. She tried using plastic dryer balls to speed up the process, but the noise in a small flat was too much and she then started thinking that there had to be a better, more sustainable way of doing things. Around the same time, Sarah was learning the art of felting on a local craft course, living in the heart of Yorkshire, her creations reflected the surrounding scenery – namely sheep!
