Chinar, Inc. is a wholesale company located in Boulder, Colorado. We are a family owned business founded and owned by husband and wife team Tawfeeq Nazir and Lisa Palino-Nazir. Chinar was started in 2004 as an avenue to support textile and papier-mâché artisans in Tawfeeq’s native Kashmir, India. We offer a colorful collection of hand-made scarves with a focus on natural fibers and fine quality blends. We have a wide array of exclusive prints and woven designs to choose from in our collections. Chinar’s goal is to produce high quality, modern designs and to provide continued support to the talented and diverse artisan communities in India.
