About Sharp Thoughtlings

My name is Kayla Sharp, and I’m the owner and designer of Sharp Thoughtlings. Odd name, right? Sharp came from my last name, obviously, but Thoughtlings requires a little more explanation. Really, it means small thoughts, and represents all the little thoughts inside my head that are now out in the world for you all to enjoy! I think it’s important for you all to know who you’re buying from, so when I'm not running this one-woman show, I am a full-time Elementary Art Teacher! My husband and I live in a small town in Missouri with our three dogs, five cats, and bearded dragon. We call our house the Sharp Zoo! I enjoy drawing (duh!), being creative in all aspects, reading, watching cartoons, and spending time with my best friends. Sharp Thoughtlings came to life during quarantine in 2020. An iPad was given to me as a birthday gift, and I quickly fell in love with digital art. As I practiced and learned new skills on that iPad, I decided I’d start making stickers, since they were all the craze on social media. That has quickly spiraled into what you see today! That unexpected love for digital art has turned into a full blown business, that offers stickers, sublimation products, and laser cut and engraved items - every single design drawn digitally or painted physically by me. My interests, love, and a LOT of time have gone into all the products you see, and it is my greatest dream that you all love them, too! Read their story
