Hi There! We're Kath and Amanda Fox, a mother/daughter team, and we have been formulating recipes for soap and skincare since 2006. As vegans and environmental stewards, we struggled to find soap and skincare products that were vegan, palm oil free, and had minimal packaging. We also wanted products that were effective with as few ingredients as possible. Back then, we had a small candle company and access to plant oils and ingredients with which to experiment. Amanda was a teenager then and I (Kath) was 40something, but we had in common very sensitive skin. Over the next few years we developed recipes for soaps, body care, and skin care that ranged from teenage skin to maturing skin, which we used ourselves. We were very proud of those recipes and eventually added them to our candle line, and Fanciful Fox Soap and Candle Company was born. Over the years, our business and recipes have changed and evolved, and our name is now just the Fanciful Fox, but our original mission has remained steadfast. Always vegan. Always palm oil free. Packaging with minimal environmental impact. We really love what we do, and we have a lot of fun doing it. I hope it shines through. Read their story
