About Luna-Leena - handmade in Nepal

Luna-Leena® designs its products in the Netherlands, such as toys, keychains, jewelry, decoration, home accessories, and stationery. All these sustainable products are handmade in Kathmandu. We have our own local women's teams, and they create high-quality crochet, knitting, macramé, and paper products. Crochet, knitting, macramé, and our eco-paper are always handmade and not machine-made. Together, we keep this traditional craft alive! We contribute to better living and working conditions for these women and their families. Our women work together or individually from their own homes in Nepal. Sustainability and doing good for our environment are of high importance to us, and we contribute to this in various ways. We prefer to work with natural materials such as: organic cotton (GOTS), wool, jute, leather, hemp, and environmentally friendly paper (tree-free). Every eco-friendly paper tag on the product has a QR code that tells the Luna-Leena story of Nepal. The impact of the production process on the environment is minimized as much as possible by using azo-free dyes, tree-free, acid-free paper, GOTS, and CE.
