Little Shop of ElleSee cards are created using an uncommon process: All of the artwork and script that is used on the cards is first drawn in a sketchbook using an archival ebony marker and, for a touch of colour, can sometimes be filled-in with artist quality coloured pencils. The artwork is then scanned in to the computer, altered, if necessary, using graphics editing software, and printed off an Epson printer onto beautifully textured Rossi 1931 Medioevalis fine writing stationery that was crafted in Florence, Italy using the Amalfi paper making process. The wonderful part about the process that Little Shop of ElleSee utilizes is that it gives each card the look and feel of being drawn by hand, and it gives the overall feel of a piece of artwork that could become a permanent part of the home, which makes the cards from Little Shop of ElleSee stand out as a beautiful memento of a moment in time.Read their story
